This five-piece powerhouse Blues band is a second generation project of "the same, but better" by founding members Vinnie Roslin and Robin Roselle. The band features contemporary style Chicago Blues along with nostalgic selections of Swing and Boogie Woogie with a touch of humor thrown into the mix.
Vinnie, ex-Springsteen Bassist and Jersey Shore veteran musician, has traveled through most genres of popular music while having a history of performing with the area's top bands of "the day" (including CHILD, STEEL MILL, WATERFRONT, and THE MOTIFS, to name a few). Robin, one of the local area's only female Harmonica players, can blast the Blues just as good as any of the boys. Other members include the mesmerizing style of play (and the backbone of the band), by " Bobby D." DeCotiis on Guitar, "Mean Dean The Piano Machine" Babajko and his fine Keyboard style, and the very talented Roger Gorey on Drums. The band also boasts the variety of three alternating distinct lead vocal styles: Robin, sounding sultry and very vintage; the gritty "down home" feeling that you get from "Bobby D."; and the classic but urban voice of Roger Gorey.

Together they offer variety, diversification, and unexpected fun, either recorded or live!

Gary Cavico began playing guitar and singing in the 60s. While growing up in the Jersey Shore area and experiencing the Asbury Park music scene, he played and jammed with such local heroes such as Vinnie Roslin, “Big Danny” Gallagher, Ed Manion, and “Stringbean” Kenny Sorenson. His engagements included the local legendary venues of Mrs. Jay’s, Hullabaloo, and Upstage in Asbury Park, NJ, and Jason’s in Belmar, NJ, to name a few. In these nightclubs, many solid musical relationships were made and as they say, “the rest is history”! Gary’s most recent band credits include Stone Blue, and Flathead Dave and The Magnetos. With the latter, he can be seen performing every Sunday in the house band at Crossroads Bar in Asbury Park. And if you arrive mid afternoon, you will be lucky enough to catch Gary’s “alone and acoustic” performance.
